TransportConnect was a fully integrated system across web and mobile to provide the location of vehicles in a transport network, in real-time.
The platform consisted of a Control Centre which visualised of all activity within the network and allowed command centre operators to communicate with vehicles in the network.
The vehicles were tracked using an Android application which allowed drivers to select their trip and also communicate with the command centre operators.
The realtime and messenger servers facilitated communication between tracking devices and the control centre. The system included a custom API and GTFS output.
